Welcome to the Learning Centre

On the 8th May 2006 the Learning Centre at Perkins was opened.
Working in collaboration with the East of England Development Agency (EEDA), the National and Local Learning Skills Council (LSC) and Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Learning Partnership (CPLT) a former Apprentice School within Perkins was refurbished to create a state of the art learning-centre. The Centre was built within just ten weeks by a cross-functional team from selected key departments and local suppliers whose objective was to ensure that the Centre provides a professional and welcoming environment for all learners.

The Centre is run by Learning Coordinators from within Perkins who work with a range of local organisations to provide the facilities and learning programmes that meet the needs of Perkins employees and families; Community based projects and local businesses.
